Connecting a wallet
Scanning is read-only and needs no wallet. Paste any address, including one you do not own, and DustJar reads public chain data to show what is there. You only connect when you decide to claim, because only the wallet that owns an account can sign for it.
Three ways to add wallets
- Paste. Drop one address or a whole list into the box. Spaces, commas, newlines and even explorer links all work, and Solana and EVM addresses can be mixed.
- Connect. Choose your wallet app and the selected account joins the list.
- Switch accounts. Wallet apps only ever expose the account currently selected, so to add a second one, switch to it in the app. DustJar notices and adds it. No reconnecting.
Every wallet you add is scanned together, and each appears as a chip you can remove. On the claim step each gets its own row and its own button, because a wallet app can only sign for the account it is on.
If the connection breaks
Reload the page first. Your wallet list is remembered for two hours, so nothing is lost, and the scan runs again by itself. If a wallet app refuses to connect at all, disconnect DustJar from inside the app and try again.
On a phone
Wallet apps have a built-in browser. Opening dustjar.xyz inside Phantom, Solflare or Backpack is more reliable than switching between apps, because the wallet is already present on the page.
